Website for a law firm

Nobody searches for "a lawyer". They search "divorce lawyer Chișinău", "appeal a fine", "company insolvency". Each of those is a page, and a firm with one services page appears in none of them.

A client who needs a lawyer knows exactly what problem they have and has no idea who to call. They search the problem, not the profession.

That is everything a firm's site needs to know in order to work.

What a law firm site actually needs

A page per practice area. Divorce and custody, employment, commercial litigation, insolvency, criminal, property. Each with what gets resolved there, how it proceeds, how long it takes in practice. Those are the searches.

A page per lawyer. Name, year of admission to the bar, specialisation, languages. Clients check the person before calling, and referrals come by name.

How fees are set. Not a figure, but the model: hourly, fixed per matter, or in stages. Not knowing the order of magnitude is the main reason people postpone the call.

First consultation: free or paid — say which. Either is fine. Ambiguity is not.

What happens after someone writes. Who answers, within what time, what information to prepare.

A confidentiality note beside the form. A message sent through a form does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Say so explicitly, or someone will send details that expose them.

The integrations that matter

A form structured by case type. A divorce and an insolvency need entirely different information. One generic form produces unusable messages.

Consultation booking. With the real duration and the documents to bring.

Google Business Profile. For a local firm, the map and the reviews decide more than anything else on the site.

Common mistakes

A single "Services" page. The most expensive on this list, exactly as with clinics.

Promising outcomes. "We win the case" is an ethics problem before it is a marketing one.

Photographs of gavels. They are not used in this jurisdiction and they are recognised as stock.

A form with no confidentiality note. Someone sends details of a live matter to a firm that may represent the other side.

What we build

A prerendered site with a page per practice area and per lawyer. Forms structured by case type, with a confidentiality note. The fee model explained. Romanian and Russian. Structured data for a legal practice, with the practice areas declared separately.

Questions

Why do I need a page per practice area?

Because people search the problem, not the profession. "Employment lawyer Chișinău" is a query; "law firm" is rare. Without the practice page, the firm does not appear in the search that brings the client.

Can I publish cases I have won?

With care. Identifying details are confidential. You can describe the type of matter and the approach, without names, exact figures, or anything that lets the parties be identified.

Do I have to publish fees?

Not figures, but yes, the model. Someone who cannot estimate the order of magnitude postpones the call. "Hourly" or "fixed per matter, set after the first consultation" is enough.

Is a legal blog worth it?

It is, if it answers real client questions — what to do when you receive a formal notice, how to appeal a fine. Legislative commentary written for colleagues does not bring clients.
