Website for a travel agency

A holiday offer with no departure date and no price is not an offer, it is a photograph of a beach. And an expired offer still published is worse than none at all.

Travel agency websites have two problems that combine badly: the offers have no dates and no prices, and the ones that do are from last season.

A client who finds a perfect holiday and discovers it expired four months ago does not come back to that site.

What a travel agency site actually needs

An offer with a date, a price and availability. Departure 14 June, 7 nights, from X per person, places remaining. Without those three, the page helps nobody decide.

Pages per destination. Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Dubai, city breaks. Those are the real searches, and each deserves its own page with the live offers.

What the price includes. Flight, transfer, board type, taxes, insurance. The difference between two identical-looking offers sits exactly there, and so do the complaints.

Payment in instalments or a deposit. A family holiday is rarely paid in full on the spot. A deposit with the balance before departure is the norm, and it needs writing down.

The documents required. Passport, validity, visa, what is needed for children. It gets searched heavily and brings in people who have not yet chosen an agency.

What happens on cancellation. Yours or theirs. It is the question everybody has and few ask before paying.

Who looks after you on the trip. Whether there is a representative, who to call locally, in which time zone. That is why people choose an agency rather than an aggregator.

The integrations that matter

Offers that expire automatically. An offer past its date has to disappear on its own. It is the most important function on a site like this.

A booking enquiry with real fields. Number of people, children's ages, flexibility on dates. A useful reply comes out of that the same day.

Online deposit payment. Someone who decides in the evening pays in the evening.

Common mistakes

Offers with no price. "Details at the agency" removes the offer from every comparison.

Expired offers. The fastest way to lose a new visitor's trust.

Offers only as PDFs or images. They do not appear in search, do not read on a phone and cannot be filtered.

No pages per destination. "Antalya all inclusive holiday" does not find a general list of offers.

What we build

A prerendered site with offers carrying a date, a price and automatic expiry, pages per destination, a structured booking enquiry and online deposit payment. What the price includes, written down. Romanian and Russian.

What each processor requires is explained here.

Questions

Why publish prices if they change often?

Because without a price the offer does not enter the comparison. A "from" figure with the update date is far better than nothing, and clients understand that travel prices move.

How do I avoid expired offers on the site?

With an expiry date on each offer, set when it is created. The page disappears on its own when the date passes. Manual tidying never happens on time.

Are separate pages per destination worth it?

Yes, they are the most valuable pages you can have. Each destination is a search with buying intent and a season of its own.

Can I take the deposit online?

Yes, it is normal practice. An online deposit reduces the bookings that change their mind and removes the trip to the office for someone who has already decided.
