A page per subject and per level. Maths at secondary level, maths for the final exam, conversational English, English for an exam. Different searches, different parents, different urgency.
A first trial lesson. The most effective conversion tool in the field. Nobody commits to ten sessions with someone they have not seen teach.
The price, per lesson and per package. With the lesson length. A parent compares tutors exactly as they compare any other service, and silence on price sends them on.
Online, at their home, or at yours. With what each means in practice. Online tutoring has become normal and extends the market beyond the neighbourhood.
Written for both the parent and the student. The parent wants results and seriousness; the student wants it not to be boring. Both messages have to exist.
What a lesson looks like. What happens in those 60 minutes, what homework is set, how progress gets reported.
Reviews that name the subject and the year. Generic praise means nothing; "maths, year nine, over six months" means something.
The integrations that matter
Booking with recurring sessions. Tutoring is "Tuesday and Thursday at 17:00, until June". A calendar that requires booking each time produces cancellations.
Payment per package. Ten lessons paid in advance is stability for you and commitment from the student.
Materials for the student. A place where the worksheets, homework and solutions live beats a WhatsApp group and stays accessible afterwards.

Can I promise exam results?
No. The grade depends on the student, not only on you. What can honestly be said is how many students you have prepared, for which exams, and what the process looks like.
