Website for a car repair shop

Nobody searches for "car service". They search "timing belt Golf 7 price" or "computer diagnostics Chișinău". Every job with a price is a page, and a garage with one list of services appears in none of them.

A driver with a problem knows exactly what they are searching for: a job, a make, a price.

"Car service Chișinău" is a rare search. "Passat clutch replacement price" is not. The difference between the two decides where the customers come from.

What a garage's site actually needs

A page per job, with a price. Oil change, timing belt, clutch, brakes, diagnostics, alignment, air conditioning. Each with a price range and what it includes. These are the most valuable pages in the field.

Specialisation by make, if you have one. A garage that mostly works on VW-Audi or on French cars should say so. It is a real differentiator and a separate search.

Online booking. With the job and the estimated duration. A garage that takes bookings only by phone loses the customers who would have to call between 9 and 18, which is exactly the people with jobs.

Parts: original, aftermarket, or the customer's own. The policy written down. It is the number one source of arguments at the till.

The warranty on the work. How long, on what.

How long it takes. A customer needs to know whether they are leaving the car for two hours or two days — that decides whether they come at all.

A courtesy car or a lift. If you offer one, it is a differentiator almost nobody advertises.

The integrations that matter

Booking wired to real capacity. How many ramps, how many mechanics, which jobs can overlap. Booking that ignores this produces waiting and bad reviews.

Service reminders. A customer who changed the oil 10,000km ago needs the next service. An automatic message at the right interval brings them back. It is the most direct recurring revenue in the field.

A history per vehicle. What was done, when, at what mileage. Customers ask for it when selling the car, and it is a strong reason not to change garage.

Common mistakes

A single "Services" page. It misses every job search, and those are the only ones with buying intent.

No prices. Drivers compare three garages; the one without a price drops out of the comparison.

No online booking. It loses exactly the customers with working hours of their own.

No parts policy. The "I will bring my own part" conversation happens anyway; better beforehand.

What we build

A prerendered site with a page per job and price, specialisation by make, booking wired to capacity, service reminders and a history per vehicle. Parts policy and warranty written down. Romanian and Russian.

Questions

Why pages for every job?

Because that is how people search. Nobody types "car service"; they type the job, the make and the word "price". A page per job appears there; a general list does not.

Do I have to publish prices when they vary by model?

Yes, as a range, noting that it depends on the model. A range is infinitely more useful than nothing, and customers understand cars differ.

Are service reminders worth it?

They are the most direct recurring revenue a garage can have. The customer will get the service done anyway; the only question is where.

What about customers who bring their own parts?

Write the policy on the site: whether you accept them and how the warranty changes. Then the conversation happens beforehand rather than with the car on the ramp.
