Accounting sells badly on a website because everyone says the same thing: "full accounting services, competitive prices, experienced team".
What actually differentiates is something else: whoever explains the deadlines most clearly takes the traffic, and the clients with it.
What an accounting site actually needs
The tax deadline calendar. The most valuable page you can have. What is filed, by when, who is obliged. It gets searched every month by the same people, and the ones who do not yet have an accountant find you there.
Prices as a model, not a figure. Accounting does not cost the same for a firm with three invoices and one with three hundred. Explain what moves the price: document count, employees, VAT, import-export, cash register.
Pages per client type. Limited company, sole trader, non-profit, a firm with employees, a dormant firm. These are different situations and different searches.
What you do and what you do not. Payroll included or separate? Representation during an inspection? Tax advice? A clear list prevents arguments after signing.
How documents are handed over. This is where you win or lose clients: a portal where the client uploads invoices beats any WhatsApp group.
The integrations that matter
A document portal for clients. Invoices sent over WhatsApp get lost, compressed and cannot be archived. A simple portal with a folder per month removes the most common friction in the relationship.
A link to the accounting package. If you work in 1C or similar, integration saves re-keying. That is its own subject.
A quote form with the questions that matter. Company type, monthly document count, employees, VAT. A real quote comes out of that, rather than "we will be in touch".
Common mistakes
No deadline calendar. Giving up the only content in the field that brings recurring traffic.
"Prices from 500 lei." It says nothing and attracts exactly the wrong clients.
Documents over WhatsApp. It works until the tenth client.
Generic text about "professionalism and reliability". Everyone has it, so it differentiates nobody.
What we build
A prerendered site with a maintainable deadline calendar, a client document portal and a structured quote form. Pages per client type. The pricing model explained. Romanian and Russian.
Questions
Why does the deadline calendar matter?
Because it is the only content in the field that people search month after month. It brings recurring traffic, and the people who find you are exactly the ones who have just realised they have a deadline problem.
How do I publish prices when they depend on volume?
Publish the model, not the figure: what moves the price and within what range. A client who understands the logic calls; one who sees nothing does not.
Do I need a document portal?
Past a certain number of clients, yes. Below that it still helps: an ordered archive, nothing lost, and a real argument in a sales conversation.
Are separate pages per company type worth it?
Yes. "Accounting for a limited company Chișinău" and "accounting for a sole trader" are different searches, and a generic page appears in neither.
