We are a studio in Chișinău that works with companies in Romania. What follows explains what works well in that arrangement and what does not, so you can decide in the first minute.
What works well remotely
The same language, no translation. That is not a formality: briefs, copy and discussions about nuance happen directly, and it is the major difference from a supplier elsewhere in Europe.
The same time zone. A message at 10:00 gets an answer at 10:00, not eight hours later.
A lower cost than a Bucharest agency. No office in the centre of the capital and no sales structure that comes with it. The difference shows in the quote, not in the work.
Knowledge of the Romanian requirements. e-Invoicing, the consumer obligations for shops, the local processors, the accounting packages used there.
What does not work
Projects that need weekly physical presence. If your way of working assumes a meeting at your office every Tuesday, a supplier 450 kilometres away is a poor choice, however good the team.
Situations where being seen with a local agency matters. It happens, particularly in tenders and in certain industries. It is a legitimate requirement and one we cannot meet.
What we build
A prerendered site — the content is in the page before JavaScript, so search engines and the crawlers feeding AI answers both see it. Payments through the processor that fits the Romanian market. Invoicing compatible with current requirements. Accounting integration. Correct structured data.

What working together looks like
An initial video call, a written brief, a quote with stages and dates. Communication on the channel you prefer, with one responsible person rather than a ticket queue. Delivery in stages, checkable at every step.

Why work with a team from Chișinău?
For the same language, the same time zone and a lower cost than a capital-city agency. If none of those three matters to you, the local choice is just as good.
Do you know Romanian legislation?
The requirements that affect a commercial website, yes: electronic invoicing, consumer information duties, payment processors. For legal questions you work with a lawyer, not a developer — wherever that developer sits.
Can you come to a meeting?
Occasionally, for large projects, yes. Weekly, no. If that is the requirement, say so at the start and we will recommend choosing locally.
How does payment from another country work?
By bank transfer between companies, with a contract and an invoice. It is the ordinary procedure and it adds no complication.
